At this point, if you’re god, customizing humans is more or less the same as changing a video game character’s appearance. Life on Earth becomes more of a pass time rather than a serious thing. But yes, wtf indeed. Although, it may not be as immoral as it would seem, spawning in humans as a god is definitely doable so a character creating screen of some sort would probably be accessible. Still, I don’t think being god would be very interesting as of now. If you ask me when I’m on my death bed, I might answer differently though.

So far, at least until this episode, this show has followed the genre pattern of Btooom!. It would make sense for something that f#cky to happen, considering its a common theme in other survival genre media like movies (Cube et al.) and series (Squid Games is the latest example).

Btooom! even had the nutty kid trope. Sadly, no season 2 will ever be made.

Whether or not it makes sense has never seemed to matter in this genre type.

I just love that anime btoom 懐かしい I enjoyed every episode of it back then and I kinda laugh and understand why the old man suddenly became like that and I think that's the reason why btoom has no season 2 because the anime made an anime original at the end just my guess

But Btoom isn't an anime original, it was based on a manga, from the same author as Knights of Sidonia. His work seems all loosely tied with many common references coming up in different mangas.
